The Process
Each crafted color is individually conditioned and then rolled into a tube like shape and put inside my Lucy Extruder. The Lucy Extruder shapes the polymer clay by forcing it through a disk, which gives me the uniform snake like polymer clay strands. The strands are dexterously worked into knots. The Octoknot is made using four (4) strands, giving me eight (8) ends that are gently worked into one (1) knot.
