Custom made pair of earrings for LAANE's 2025 Women for a New Los Angeles: Courage & Care Luncheon, an event that celebrates women’s leadership.
The deep burgundy color is mixed until the perfect color is achieved and conditioned using my Lucy Clay Machine. Indentation phase follows to produce the ubiquitous dents all around. Each dent is "hammered" on with a ball stylus to create the whimsical hammered texture. Shapes are then cut out from the flattened slabs using my collection of shape cutters.
