Super light weight polymer clay earrings with gold plated jump rings and titanium posts for sensitive ears.

The Process
These Pomegranate Cascades got their lively raw garnet color by combining two cernit translucent blocks of polymer clay. Each shade of red is finely cut into pieces and then compacted into one slab. This slab is then kneaded, conditioned and flattened using my favorite Lucy Clay machine. Shapes are then cut out from the slab. These pieces were only slightly buffed as I wanted the clay pieces to resemble the raw garnet stone.
Once baked, each piece is sanded, buffed, hand drilled, assembled, photographed and packaged by me. If you would like to see more about the process, take a look at my reels on my Instagram page: @virauful.
