The Process
The forest green howlite was created with custom blends. Acrylic paint and tiny specks of fine gold foil are then added to the polymer clay and compressed into a cane. To create the slab from which the earring shapes are cut out from, we slice up the cane, and organize our sliced pieces into one large slab. I then used the remaining pieces of the slab to hand roll matching howlite beads.
Once baked, each piece is sanded, hand drilled, assembled, photographed and packaged by me. To learn more about the making of each product, please visit my instagram page: @virauful.
