The Process
Each piece starts off as a flattened slab, it is then conditioned and undergoes the mica powder process. This process is responsible for giving each piece its special ultra pearlescent shine. Indentation phase follows to produce the ubiquitous dents all around. Each dent is "hammered" on with a ball stylus to create the whimsical hammered texture.
Once baked, each piece is sanded, sealed, hand drilled, assembled, photographed and packaged by me. To learn more about the making of each product, please visit my instagram page: @virauful.
