The Process
Each crafted color is individually conditioned and then rolled into a tube like shape and put inside my Lucy Extruder. The Lucy Extruder shapes the polymer clay by forcing it through a disk, which gives me the uniform snake like strands of polymer clay. I then shape each strand into a circle using a cutter as a guide to create the chunky hoops. Using the smaller polymer clay snake like strands, the knots are made one by one by hand.
