The Process
Two distinct orange hues are used to create the vibrant sunny orange. The blend creates a captivating and lively shade, radiating warmth and energy.
The fuchsia color is a lovely blend of white and fuchsia, making it a vibrant and striking shade. It is a bold and intense color that demands attention and leaves a lasting impression.
The color of periwinkle in polymer clay is a serene and soothing shade that beautifully combines blue and purple tones.
The color of citron is a vibrant and zesty shade of yellow-green, exuding a refreshing and lively energy. It embodies a sense of freshness and vitality, making it eye-catching and energetic.
The clay is con·tin·u·ous·ly kneaded and put through my Lucy Clay pasta machine until the perfect color is achieved. Once the color is "nailed" and the clay is fully conditioned a sheet of sandpaper is placed over the slab and gently pressed on with a roller pin to achieve the grainy overlay texture. Shapes are cut out from the flattened slab using my collection of shape cutters.
