Super light weight polymer clay earrings with titanium posts for sensitive ears.

The Process
Classic and chic perfectly encapsulates the essence of these earrings. Slight orange/amber and black are added to translucent polymer clay for a unique blend that allows for light to seep through them.
The amber/orange clay is rolled into a tube like shape and put inside my Lucy Extruder. The Lucy Extruder shapes the polymer clay by forcing it through a disk, which gives me the uniform snake like strands of polymer clay. I then cover the strands in the tortoise shell slab and shape each strand into a circle using a cutter as a guide to create the chunky hoops.
